# Geo Restrictions

> Countries blocked from accessing Kairos exchanges — generated from the live gating configuration

Kairos enforces geo restrictions at the account and exchange level, so the blocked-country list changes over time. This page is generated from the live `geo.getBlockedCountries` configuration — what you see is the list currently in force.

Access is denied **server-side on every request** and fails closed: an account in a blocked region is rejected regardless of client behavior.

## Globally blocked countries

Global blocks deny every Kairos venue.
